Previously at Facebook Boston, I focused on distributed consistency and consensus problems. My team, Core Data Boston, worked on strengthening various consistency guarantees over Facebook’s read-optimized data stores that serve the social graph. I also worked on distributed transactions over federated systems.
I co-wrote the folly F14 hash table and can be nerd-sniped by C++ language matters like this; I was a core contributor to the dynamic membership change protocol of LogDevice, a strongly consistent shared log that leverages flexible quorums.
I received my BS in computer science from Yale University in 2015. My thesis was on Iterative Algorithms for Lipschitz Learning on Graphs, advised by Prof. Dan Spielman. I have been a software engineer at Facebook Boston since Feb 2016.
